jQuery site down

Went onto the jQuery plugin site this morning to be greeted by this Drupal SQL error, lovely! Now I always had a feeling it was built using Drupal. No doubt the site will be back online when you view this.

The End is Near for IE6

Whats it about?

As web technology improves and gets vastly greater, with the introduction of Javascript libraries such as jQuery and more intense needs for websites. Don’t you think its time to move on from Internet Explorer 6 (which is now 7 years old). Come on, this is technology! If we were doing the same with mp3 for instance the iPod would have been invented, but you would still have many people still using CD players or even worse cassette players.

PHP or ASP?

NowIn a recent article by webdesign tv, they said the advantages of php. The basic ones being:

1. Its opensource
2. Its free
3. The Database is free unlike MSSQL (Microsofts version)
4. Developers will help each other
5. Its less likely to go wrong
